Project #1, & Toys, Toys, Toys

While I was in Salt Lake last weekend I bought these pots and plastic plants. I fell in love with these pots and had to have them. Last night I finally put them together. I have rearranged my ledgein my living room a few times since I took these pictures. It makes such a difference to have something on my ledge.

Koops' nursery at work is a disaster. He loves to sit in the middle of the mess and grab for as many toys as possible. I have to say the mess was not made by Kooper he just enjoys it. My Co-worker Alan has twin 2 year olds that come by to visist him often. Kooper loves other kids. I'm a little sad he doesn't have any siblings to play with, but not sad enough I am ready to have another one.

I'm on call with the Crisis Line this week and recieved a call at 10pm . I guess it was just one of those nights, I was out until 3am. I put 150 miles on my car last night just driving around. I love responding to calls but I am Physically and emotional drained. When I could finally crawl into bed Kooper woke up crying and Mike had the early shift at work which meant no sleeping in. Every once in a while these kinds of nights happen and I am so glad when they are over.

YAY! You fixed it so I could post!

First off...love the pots and the plants! They look great! Once Koop gets a little bigger and IS the one making the messes, let me know! We came up with a really great toy organization system that has worked GREAT for us! I have it on my blog somewhere...would just need to track it down.

As for the sleepless night...I can completely relate. Isn't it just the way that when you finally lay down EXHAUSTED, the baby wakes up? I know that feeling and experience that at least a few times a week. It's so hard and I'm so sorry that you were unable to sleep. Hope you will be able to find some time to catch up on sleep this week sometime. As a mom, it's hard to even find time to catch up. That sleep is usually just lost. LOL!

Looking forward to seeing more from what you're doing to decorate your house. That's one thing I am not very good at. I can BUY things...but as for putting them up...that's a completely different story. I just don't have the touch. So any tips are appreciated. Keep sharing! Whoa....this is a long comment. LOL! Sorry. :-)

Hey Bailey,
What a cute kid. Love the picture it wont be long before he is the one making the mess. I love the decorations. Your house looks so cute from all the pictures I have seen. I am so jealous that Mike's parents get to see you guys so much. I know it is closer and easier. Just promise to come every so often.
