Grandma Parker gave us this amaryllis for Christmas and it is just starting to bloom. I came into work this morning and they were all blooming, aren't they beautiful!
Nothing new or exciting is happening at our house. I have decided I really love Yoga I went again yesterday. Kooper loves the kids at the nursery, he has so much fun. Mike has been playing baskteball at church a couple times a week as well as coaching the young men. HYe seams to be havinga good time he always loves when basketball season rolls around.
I just found out I get to go to New Orleans in May for a training. I am the only one from my work going so I am having Mike come with me so we can both enjoy the city. I have been to New Orleans once before the hurricane, and I loved it. It will be interesting to see the changes after the hurricane.
Ha Ha my favorite is the one of him reading a book. His favorite toy at work is the one the ball goes round and round. he thinks it is so great. I'm doing Yoga tonight for the first time, Kooper will go into the gym nursery which will be nice for him to play with other kids. I feel so bad sometimes that he has to play by himself all the time. (No that does not mean it's time to have another one.)
Mike was so sweet for Valentines day he gave me roses and a new curling iron, I am so excited. So if my hair is curly a lot lately you will know why.
Obviously things at work have slowed down, I'm not as busy or stressed. I have a lot more time to post on my blog and tell everyone what the DeRoests' are up to.
I just had to share what my good friend Meegan bought me for helping her with the Teen Dating Violence Awareness Campaign last week. They are black iron. Thanks Meegan I love them!
This blog is dedicated to the Grandmas, Happy Valentines Day from Kooper! I tried endlessly to get a cute picture of Kooper in his lil' Casanova shirt. He would not stop moving, he didn't want to stop for a picture. Finally we tried to take a picture with me holding him and he still wouldn't hold still. So here are the best pictures from this morning. I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day!
Grandma DeRoest bought Kooper some Valentines P.J.'s. He is so cute in them. I bought Kooper some New Robeez shoes. They are so great. They are soft and have leather on the bottom so they are easy for him to walk in. He was having a hard time in real shoes, so he was always in his socks. No more dirty socks with holes in them. One picture is of Kooper when he stole my Powerade Slush from sonic. the other picture is of him destroying my office. That is my short but sweet update.
Kooper loves to run he always ends up falling. Here is a picture of him trying to chase me because I had the camera. He was laughing while he ran that's why his mouth is open.
Grandma Annette is coming to watch Kooper for us tomorrow, We are going up the the high school tomorrow for a Teen Dating Violence Awareness week. We have a bunch of activites planned for tomorrow. I can not wait until it's over.
Wow these pictures turned out even worse than I thought. I used the office camera, and could not take a clear picture no matter what I tried. I guess you get the point. I painted it a dark grey. I also have a large window with red curtains but the window was so bright it wouldn't take a clear picture. another wall has a large black mirror. I love having my own space at work. It has been fun decorating it. I feel like I spend more time here than I do at home . It fits my personality perfectly.
I feel like a never pull out my camera any more to take pictures of Kooper. To be fair I feel like a picture just dosen't do his personality justice, I really need to be getting him on the video camera. He LOVES to dance, he wiggles his hips and shakes his hands. He waves hi, and bye to everyone. He talk, talk and talks, and walk, walk, and walks. He growls, and gives hi fives. He tires to shoot hoops on his little basketball hoop he got for chritmas. Needless to say I have really enjoyed having Kooper home. I chase him around and he always falls while he is trying to run away. He has probably hit his head 15 times this weekend. My goal is to try and take more pictures of Kooper. Hopefully I will have some new pictreus to post soon.
